From pure theory to working markets

Our members work across the breadth of market design and economic theory — the mathematics of mechanisms and games; the design of auctions, matching systems, and financial markets; questions of information, contracts, and social choice; and applications reaching into machine learning, blockchain, energy, and industrial organisation. The work runs from pure theory to applied design to laboratory experiments.
