Where research meets the market

Collaboration Series

Focused workshops that turn market design research into working mechanisms — built with partners across academia, industry, and policy.

Workshops

From research insight to working mechanisms

Each workshop takes on a concrete market design challenge and brings the right people into one room — researchers, operators, and policymakers — to move from ideas to designs that can be piloted. Here is what we've built with partners so far.

The Design of Secondary Markets for Illiquid Asset Classes
Diagnosing liquidity frictions in digital and private assets, and comparing market designs — OTC, continuous trading, auctions, and AMMs — that improve price discovery and execution.
View programmeHide programme

Secondary markets are the bottleneck for digital and private assets: thin order books, wide spreads, high slippage, slow time to fill, and episodic participation keep liquidity shallow. This workshop brings researchers and practitioners together to diagnose frictions, compare mechanisms (OTC, continuous trading, auctions, AMMs), and discuss practical improvements that deepen liquidity, tighten spreads, and improve execution quality.

Propose a workshop

A good fit if you face a concrete market design challenge and want expert minds working on it with you. A typical agenda: learning the context, input from current research, mapping the design space, structured discussion, and a clear set of next steps.
